Ginger is an Educational Endorser for Pro Mark, Inc.
Ginger served on the first Pro Mark Educational Advisory Board
helping with the creation of the ‘Future Pro’ drumstick design.
In July, 2005, she
traveled to the International Percussion Symposium III at the Escuela Nacional de Musica of the University of Mexico in Mexico
City where she presented marimba /vibraphone clinic and a
‘Percussion in the Pit” clinic with co-percussionist, Steve
Hatfield, also from Wichita, Kansas. During 2004 she was a touring
performer with Academic Entertainment, Inc. performing “Drums Around
the World” for school assemblies in 8 states in the Midwest.
Ginger has performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Rich Little, Jack Benny,
The Mills Brothers, Milt Jackson, Placido Domingo, Pavorotti, Art
Garfunkle, and the National Touring Company of Jesus Christ
Superstar-25th Anniversary Tour. She has performed in Europe,
Canada, and extensively in the United States. She has also performed
as principal percussionist with the Spokane Symphony and Chamber
orchestras, Toledo Symphony, Seattle Opera Orchestra, and has served
on the faculty at National Music Camp (Interlochen Center for the
Arts).
Sterling College – Sterling, KS
Ginger is adjunct at Sterling College and is teaching percussion
methods and percussion ensemble during spring semester – 2006.
Other News:
Ginger visiting the University of Michigan, her alma mater where she
received both a bachelor's and master's degree in music/percussion.

Sterling College
My duties at Sterling College are expanding this coming year to
include director of Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion
Ensemble. Therefore, my private teaching time allotments have been
reduced. I will still be teaching
from 5 - 9pm on Monday through Thursday, and 10 - 5 on Saturdays.
The Kansas
Rhythm and Jazz Ensemble will meet on Sundays from 2 - 4 (on
specific
Sundays). More information regarding tryouts for this ensemble and
rehearsal
dates will be forthcoming.
Hutchinson Community College – Hutchinson, KS
Ginger is also adjunct at Hutchinson Community College teaching
private percussion lessons and has been on the faculty there for 20
years.
